ROLE #1:
CRM & Email Marketing Executive Role
 
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-centric CRM & Email Marketing Executive to support us with shaping our brand's customer relationships through email marketing. Your mission is to plan, implement, and deliver compelling campaigns that resonate with our diverse audience. Additionally, you will support the CRM Manager with wider CRM initiatives to drive database and e-commerce growth within the UK/US region with a focus on acquisition, personalisation and retention. We welcome creative thinkers unafraid to suggest new ideas to enhance our customer experience and communications.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning of the email marketing calendar in line with seasonal marketing activities, promotions, and business activities.
- Own the end-to-end execution (creative briefing, design, copywriting, reporting, testing/optimization) of email newsletters, while ensuring they deliver against target
- Track and analyse campaign metrics (deliverability, opens, clicks, conversions, up-sell/cross-sell, churn) and apply insight for improvements to our email schedule, content and design to maximise engagement, conversion and ROI
- Working closely with Brand and Creative teams to ensure all email templates and CRM communications adhere to brand guidelines for consistency and synergy in messaging and design.
- Ongoing segmentation of email database to identify and target VIPs, actives, lapsers and dormants with specific campaigns
- Provide A/B testing support by focusing on email performance and optimization, along with analysing the success of A/B and multivariate initiatives.
- Support with optimising automated flows and activities to increase revenue and improve retention and loyalty.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer service, and operations teams to improve the customer experience.
- Uphold and maintain compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations in all CRM activities.
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends and emerging best practices in email marketing and CRM, implementing these insights into our strategies for continuous improvement.
- Support the CRM Manager with executing the CRM strategy, coordinating and implementing activity across email, SMS, and referral.
- Support with tracking and analysing CRM performance, customer engagement metrics, and database growth (i.e. competitions, partnerships, lead gens) to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
- Support with implementing customer segmentation strategies and personalised communication (preferences, behaviour, predictive analytics, etc.) approaches to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist with other marketing activities required by the CRM Manager and wider marketing team.

Experience Required

Essential:

- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in CRM or email marketing, preferably within the beauty or e-commerce industry
- Experienced user in CRM platforms both to handle data and for content creation (Klaviyo knowledge a plus)
- Proficiency in email template design and asset creation tools, preferably Photoshop, Adobe and/or Figma
- Experience writing copy for website/digital marketing 
- Basic html and CSS skills
- Strong proficiency in GDPR and data protection regulations
- Knowledge of customer acquisition and retention strategies
- Social and emotional awareness to tailor interactions for individual customers (ability to think from a customer perspective)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights from data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment

ROLE #2:
Marketing Coordinator Role 
 
Key Responsibilities:
- You will support the Marketing and Brand teams to execute the annual Brand Marketing plan 
- You will be able to write compelling copy for social media, blog, email and website communications
- You will support the Digital Marketing Manager in creating campaign content in line with the overall Brand Marketing calendar
- Support the team with brand partnerships that compliment the brand and contribute to our marketing KPIs (database growth, new customer acquisition etc)
- Coordinate campaign and partnership content to be used across all digital channels
- You will consider the AKT community and how to build the brand resonance with them in all communications
- Your ideas and support with our affiliate and influencer programme will be needed
- Support with creating content to promote our referral programme to and encourage customer acquisition and retention
- Manage our ‘AKTs of Kindness’ initiative - organising spare stock to go to charities/causes that need it
- Assist with brand event organisation including event collateral, logistics for set-up and on the day attendance
- Organise the brand and PR folders in Google Drive with updated assets and PR coverage
- Make day-to-day website amendments if needed (Shopify)
- Write briefs for our designers and liaise on asset production
- Contribute value ad ideas for campaign plans and brand activations across all channels
- You will need to learn to report and interpret campaign metrics (such as LTV, CPA, ROI, Acquisition, Retention, Churn)
- You will ensure the brand tone of voice is consistent across all marketing communications
- We ask that you keep an eye on our competitors - keep a look out for their marketing campaigns and share ideas with the team to encourage improvements as much as possible
- We may also ask you to support the wider business where necessary, this could be in a new area such as e-commerce etc but we will always work with you to get a new task done - we’re a small team so promise to support each other in our shared goals

Experience / skills required:

- A team player with at least 12 months of work experience in a marketing role and good social media experience

- Strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp or similar
- Excellent communication
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Proactive with a keen eye for detail
- Passionate about the premium beauty industry and keen to develop and learn more

    An understanding / working knowledge of the following platforms is beneficial:

    - Google drive

    - Shopify/HTML
    - Facebook Ads Manager
    - Social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest
    - Slack
    - Monday.com
